ROGUE VALLEY--- Several local volleyball stars made their post-season marks on the 2021 season on Thursday. Southern Oregon's Hailey Van Well topped the list by winning the 2021 Cascade Conference Player of the Year.
The Dallas, Oregon native also made the first team. Van Well was third in the CCC in kills per set with 3.6. She was also eighth in attacking average (.280).
Southern Oregon's Simone Gordon was a CCC Honorable Mention.
Still in the middle of their impressive 2021 season, four Owls appeared on the CCC post-season teams.
Nicole Reyes and Faith Houck-Wylie both made the CCC first team. Outside hitter Kaylin Talonen made the second team. Aubrey Kievit was recognized as an Honorable Mention.
Tech will play in the Cascade Conference Semifinals on Friday. The Owls will take on No. 12 Eastern Oregon at 3:30 p.m.
