LOS ANGELES — Six of Oregon State's seven touchdowns against the UCLA Bruins on Saturday, October 5, had quarterback Jake Luton's name attached to them.
He threw for a career-best five touchdowns against former Oregon head coach Chip Kelly's defense and sealed the OSU victory with a 19-yard run with less than two minutes left in the game.
The Maryville, Washington native completed 18-of-26 passes for 285 yards. One of those passes was a 53-yard touchdown strike to Tyjon Lindsey in the third quarter.
All of that earned Luton the College Football Performance Awards National Player of the Week and was named Pac-12 Player of the Week.
