BELLEVUE, Wash--- The top-ranked Raiders (17-1) continue to dominate the softball world. The Raiders kicked off a four-game series with Northwest University (0-10) by earning two victories on Saturday.

The Raiders have now improved to 17-1 on the year and have won 11 consecutive games.

Game One:

Southern Oregon made game one quick but not painless for Northwest. The Raiders won 15-0 in just five innings.

Ace Gabby Sandoval continued her historic career with a full five innings. Sandoval allowed only two hits and registered seven strikeouts. Sandoval is expected to start Sunday's first game and attempt to become the ninth player in NAIA history to earn 100 wins.

Riley Donovan is continuing to hit as good as a player can after winning last week's CCC Player of the Week. Donovan finished the game 4-for-4 with four RBIs and three runs.

Game Two:

The Raiders had to go a full seven innings in game two but that does not seem to be a problem when Lauren Quirke is pitching. The Raiders came away with a 4-0 win.

Quirke went a full seven innings and almost threw another no-hitter. SOU's number two allowed just one hit in the opening inning. Quirke struck out eight hitters and allowed no runs.

Olivia Mackey was 3-for-3 on the game with a run scored. Hannah Shimek, Riley Donovan, and Avery Morehead-Hutsell scored the other three runs for the Raiders.

Up Next:

Southern Oregon and Northwest are expected to play two more on Sunday at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.
