CORVALLIS, Ore--- Jake Luton and the Oregon State Beavers (2-4) suffered a significant loss to number 15 Utah (5-1) on Saturday.
Utah went into halftime up 35-0, and never looked back.
Jake Luton threw his first interception of the season, which was returned for a touchdown. Luton finished 17-34, with 131 yards and no touchdowns.
Isaiah Hodgins led the receiving effort, once again. Hodgins caught eight passes, and gained 77 yards.
Utah Quarterback Tyler Huntley did whatever he wanted in Corvallis. He was able to complete 14 of his 17 attempts. Huntley had 247 passing yards, and added two touchdowns.
Zack Moss had 121 rushing yards against the Beaver defense. Moss also added two touchdowns.
Oregon State's offense has been pretty efficient this season, but had nothing for the Utah defense.
Oregon State will go on the road next week. The Beavers will head to California for a matchup with Cal. That game will be played on Saturday, at 11:30 in the morning.
