Oregon State dominates Stanford, bowl eligible for first time since 2013

CORVALLIS, Ore--- Oregon State was likely excited to celebrate a 35-14 win over Stanford because it means Stanford's 11-game win streak over the Beavers is over. However, that probably isn't as exciting as the fact that the Beavers are bowl eligible for the first time since 2013.

Oregon State's win on Saturday was the sixth of the season for the Beavs. Six is the magic number to qualify for bowl season.

The Beavs left no doubt. The score was reflective of Oregon State's domination on both the offensive and defensive ends.

Oregon State quarterback Chance Nolan returned to the form he was in earlier this year. Nolan finished 19-25 for 257 yards and two touchdowns. Nolan also finished with a zero in the interception column.

The Beavs' star back, B.J. Baylor, ran the ball 23 times for 80 yards and one touchdown.

Oregon State will have two more games in the regular season, but will have at least one post season game.

Next week, Oregon State will take on Arizona State for the final game at Reser Stadium in 2021. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.
