LAS VEGAS, Ore--- The Oregon State women's team knocked off the No. 19 Oregon Ducks, 71-64, and advanced to the semi-final round of the Pac-12 Tournament on Thursday.
Thursday was the first time the Ducks and Beavers had ever met in the Pac-12 Tournament.
Oregon State's win may have solidified the Beavers' place in the NCAA Tournament as the Beavers have stacked up key wins over the past several weeks.
The Beavers were led by freshman Talia Von Oelhoffen who scored 19 points.
Aleah Goodman was the closest in scoring to Von Oelhoffen for Oregon State. Goodman came away with 13 points and seven assists.
For the Ducks, Taylor Mikesell led the scoring with 24 points. She was followed up by Nyara Sabally who scored 16 and added eight rebounds.
The Ducks future may now be in question as for how the NCAA Tournament shakes out. Though, the Ducks have been ranked in the top-25 for the entire season and it would be difficult to imagine an NCAA Tournament without them.
Oregon State will now play in the semi-final round of the Pac-12 Tournament on Friday. The Beavers will play the winner of the USC and top-seeded, No. 4 Stanford.
