LOS ANGELES — The Oregon Ducks stay undefeated in Pac-12 Conference Championship games, improving to 4-0 with their 31-24 win over the No. 13 USC Trojans.
Oregon jumped out to an early 14-0 lead over USC and then the teams traded blows until the end. The Ducks defense came up big, picking off Kedon Slovis three times, including a game-sealing interception by Jamal Hill with 2:47 left in the game.
Sophomore defensive end Kayvon Thibodeaux was named the game's MVP, recording five tackles, including a sack on third down to halt a USC drive.
The Ducks offense only recorded 243 yards throughout the game but showed versatility as both Tyler Shough and Anthony Brown took reps at quarterback, both throwing for two touchdowns. Without CJ Verdell, who didn't play in the conference title, Oregon spread out the rushing attack.
