SEATTLE, Was--- The 12th ranked Oregon Ducks (6-1) took down 25th ranked Washington (5-3) on Saturday. The Ducks were behind for most of the game, but came away with a 35-31 victory, in Seattle.

The victory for Oregon keeps the Ducks alive in the College Football Playoff talks. For Washington, the loss all but eliminates the Huskies from Pac-12 Championship contention.

Oregon and Washington is always one of the bitterest rivalries in the entire nation. The circumstances for both teams made it feel even more intense.

Justin Herbert went 24-38. Herbert threw for 280 yards. Herbert also added four touchdowns, and zero interceptions.

Cyrus Habibi-Likio led the way for Oregon's Rushing attack. Habibi-Likio gained 81 yards on 14 carries. He also managed to get into the endzone one time.

Mycah Pittman scored his first touchdown as a Duck. Pittman's touchdown was one his of two receptions.

On the other side, Washington quarterback Jacob Eason played well. Eason complete 23 of 30 attempts. His 289 yards and three touchdowns were not enough to hold the Oregon offense off.

Oregon's defense struggled most of the day. Linebacker Troy Dye also played in the game with a broken thumb.

Oregon's defense will be tested again, next week. The air-raid Washington State offense will be in Eugene. They will play at Autzen Stadium. Kick-off set for 7:30 p.m.
