be capable of heavy downpours, lightning and maybe some small hail and gusty winds. any showers and thunderstorms will end through the overnight hours. we'll see partly to mostly cloudy skies overnight with lows in the 50s and 40s across the region. it won't be as chilly as last night. expect spotty to scattered showers and thunderstorms to develop. showers and storms will be most numerous along and east of the cascades. however, we do expect some hit and miss showers and storms to impact our westside valleys. memorial day will be warmer across the region with highs climbing into the 70s for our westside valleys and readings in the 60s for the klamath basin. showers and storms will fizzle through the evening hours tomorrow. extended: tuesday is looking dry for most areas, apart from the eastside where a few showers and thunderstorms will pop-up. we'll have a better chance for more showers and thunderstorms for inland areas wednesday and even for thursday, mainly along and east of the cascades. temperatures will be warming up this week with highs back into the 80s for the rogue valley and 70s on the eastside. next weekend is looking quiet with sunshine and warm temperatures on saturday. sunday will likely be a bit cooler but still dry with a good amount of sunshine. overall, it's looking like a beautiful first weekend of june.
